Moto Morini Granpasso 1200: More pics and details

The Moto Morini Granpasso 1200. We like this stylish adventure-touring bike!

First shown in November last year, the Moto Morini Granpasso 1200 is now in production and will soon be available in Moto Morini showrooms in Europe.

Moto Morini’s 87-degree, 1187cc v-twin has been especially fettled for the Granpasso – better torque delivery at lower rpm and less fuel consumption. Steel tube trellis frame, Marzocchi 50mm USD fork, multi-adjustable Ohlins monoshock, digital instrumentation, and a massive swingarm made with the latest hydroforming technology (which allows seamless manufacturing) complete the package.

The Granpasso looks good, and should be quite competent overall...

Stopping duties are handled by twin 298mm Brembo brake discs with radial mount calipers at the front, and a single 255mm disc at the back. For those looking for a stylish long-distance sports-tourer – one that can also handle some bad roads every once in a while – should definitely take a look at the Granpasso. For more details
